I wonder what it means to be a witness to the complexity of the struggles of our society, our civilisation, of our lives as human beings.
I wonder if being a witness gives us an obligation to act, a responsibility to react.

As an artist, I understand this as my mission.
Art gives form to thought-processes, opens space for communication about the issues that plague our society. Art also opens space for visions and dreams and grants inspiration and hope - Art is our beacon.
